This site includes documents (letters, diary entries and others), tips on using documents in research, biographical sketches of the Adams family, and a Chronology comparing Adam's youth with America's growth. The project is a "document-based, directed study" [self-description] developed by a high school teacher for the Massachusetts Historical Society's Educating Youth project.
